Nyoho and a Good Day

"Every day is a good day" is not a cheerful slogan. It is like a patched and faded hattan, covered in tape (nyoho!), refusing the very framing of better/worse.

Yunmen gave a teaching, saying, “I’m not asking you before the fifteenth day of the month. Why not say a word about after the fifteenth day of the month?” (...crickets...) He answered himself, “Every day is a good day.”
